(david martinez specifically) but fantasy like. I love the idea that cyber psychosis is the very violent way that freedom can be expressed in a society that wants to control you

the world demanded that david martinez should be small

and tuck his moms dust in a cabinet when she was everything to him. to risk cyberpsychosis was to become ungovernable- to become someone they couldnt step on as they pleased.

in the world i want to write about, people believe in some kind of god,

all ideas that challenge the religious system that we govern life by will be silenced.

our main character basically communes with the devil, though as someone whos been mostly christian and is now agnostic, that thought scares the fuck outta me so i want to not have him literally commune with the devil- i just want characters (people/civillians/government) within the story to think that the protag is doing that.

the protag has magic ADHD basically, its always been in the background and made him unique growing up, other characters might have pointed it out but it never was a problem or anything that had to be fixed (yet).

magic ADHD is only ONE of the magic traits that everybody gets some parts of, i might literally also call this god the "spectrum" but that might be too on the nose.

LORE BIT : Mobias should look up to someone who embodies polarizing values.

Mobias's role model : basically da vinci to tatam,

Leonardo Da Vinci has the greatest accomplishments that an artist can probably get — (tatam wants) but

Leonardo Da Vinci has notes saying life is misery, he was also known as a grave digger, he was also known for generally being tormented — (tatam doesnt want)

the two sides of the "role model" coin could be one of the main factors on why Mobias (protag) feels lost,

im going to need to explore what actually prompts mobias to do so many risky things (that it risks darkfantasy/spooky cyberpsychosis)

maybe its revealed to him that he's more capable of extreme action than he thought himself to be? ^^ its kind of a liberating thought, but maybe it leads him to dangerous paths.

KINDNESS IS UNNATURAL TO POWER

lore bit : the god of mankind's true nature is violence- in a literal sense, people only serve a government, a system, or a god because they cannot destroy it.

kindness is unnatural to the type of power system that exists in this verse, its like using a weapon to cradle instead of cut. Mobias's true fight is to prove to himself one thing, that kindness is worth the greater strain, cost, and deeper wounds he gets by simply choosing kindness instead of inflicting pain (which is the easier route).

Mobias was the coolest character I'd ever written about, after Mobias everything felt kind of downhill when it came to art,

after all my art these days seek to impress other people, possibly to earn the right to be allowed to do art at all. That begs the question though, why is it that I want to do art at all in the first place? possibly because Mobias really was the most impressive thing I've ever created up until that point.
