GENERAL LUNATIC AU

Gen luna was evil and secretly had mfin evil plots for the PH disguised as decisions to protect us, our saving grace was a footsoldier who served under him that was able to push aguinaldo to get Gen Luna killed. 300 years later general luna is revered as a hero who stood up to injustice, general luna becomes talk of the country due to festivals and movies about him age of art and celebration, people start picking up where he left off (they will eventually fall to the same evil route as general luna if not stopped). the plot begins in a museum, where we meet our MC, a historian 

(note :this line of work is decrepit for a filipino, since everyone (us) only care about not being filipino irl)

tl:dr,, general luna plays some kenjaku type of plot (without actually being alive, just the part where it had to be a point in time where his plans could line up) + historian MAYBE main char, but im now more inclined to have a guard from gallery exhibit to be the main char, who then allies with the historian later on the heroes will recruit the help of people the footsoldier entrusted to pass down this secret. the entrusted "footsoldiers" (people the first footsoldier entrusted) have spent the last 300 years after general lunatic to try and stop it from ever re occuring. the completion of their plans requires the guard and historian MCs to take part
